I got
hooked on bluegrass and mandolin after seeing Bill Monroe play at a small
festival near where I grew up. It was one of the coolest things I've
seen. After several years of being an avid listener, I decided to try
playing the music I enjoy so much. After playing a lower-end F-5 for
about a year I decided to move up to something better. The first time I
picked up a Weber mandolin I knew it was for me. My Yellowstone has
opened up into an amazing sounding instrument. It has brought me so much
pleasure and will continue to do so for a long time. Thank you so much to
all of the folks at Sound to Earth for making such wonderful instruments.
That pretty much sums it up. I hope to make it up there for a visit
someday. I've always loved Montana. What could be better than spending
time in Big Sky Country and playing some great instruments.
Thanks again for everything,
Wayne Lawrence (Yellowstone #2101507)
