I've been playing mandolin since 1998, with my wife Leigh, and different groups and duos in a variety of different styles. Currently we are both with Cold Harbor, http://www.coldharborband.com and The Transhypnotic Orchestra. We also perform as a duo, with Leigh on guitar and vocals.

As the search for better playability and sound goes, I need not look further than my Weber instruments.

In 2005, I ordered a Bitterroot through Ken Bailey of Ken Bailey Music in Plant City, Florida.

Staying with the mahogany body, it has a cedar top, McIntyre pickup, and many appointments to the neck, such as a scooped extension, block inlays, "The Weber" and Flowerpot inlays, and my initials on the truss rod cover. This instrument has developed a huge, powerful and mature sound before its first birthday!

I also play a 2004 Fern.
