(This biography was sent to us in 2004) I am 13 years old and have been playing bluegrass mandolin for 4
years. I bought my custom Bitterroot at the age of 11 by selling
chicken eggs and two 4-H fair pigs. It took me a while to gather enough
money selling the eggs, but it was well worth it. I enjoy playing
with two bands in Indiana: Crooked Creek (and) Louie Popejoy and His
Young Heirs. Louie Popejoy is my incredible bluegrass teacher, and he is
the one who directed me to the Weber instruments. I teach fiddle and
mandolin to students of all ages and do solo performances. Because I am
home schooled, I can play my Bitterroot every day before class, between
class and after class. When I go to jams at bluegrass festivals people
always ask about my instrument and enjoy playing a few licks on it.
Thank you Weber for such a fine instrument.
