. I teach ethnomusicology and this summer, while I was waiting for some
grant money to come through, I decided to buy a mando and reacquaint
myself after about 20 years! I play old-time and Celtic,
and one of my goals is to start an ensemble devoted to American
traditional music here at the university next fall (my research specialty
is African American music). I hadn't intended to buy such a nice
instrument, but once I heard and played a Weber, there was no turning
back. It's bright, sweet sound and beautiful craftsmanship
kept intruding on my mind until I had to go back to the store and buy it.
I love it!
Thanks to everyone there for keeping quality alive!
