My name is Robbie Robinson and am currently from
Tucson, Arizona. I have been a musician for 35 years. Started playing
guitar when I was 10 years old and loved pickin ever since. I have
played all kinds of music and have played in many bands. I grew up in
the Blue Ridge mountains of western North Carolina. Bluegrass music was
all around me. I now have gone back to my roots (bluegrass) and play in
group here in Tucson. This started me on the road to learn the mandolin.
Although I can play banjo, guitar, bass.... The mandolin was a new
instrument for me. This also started my search for a quality mandolin.
I
started my search by asking all the players I new in the area about
mandolins and what was a good instrument. I then went to the computer
searching different makers thru there web sites. Then i started playing
different brands,? I tried
many major brands & private luthiers, etc...and then.... I got to play a
Weber..WOW!!!... You guys do it right....My mandolin has all the
demanding things I was looking for. Great tone ,volume, playability,
beauty....Craftsmanship is superb...Thank you all for making such a
great instrument for me... I have a 2006 Yellowstone Custom. Antique
walnut finish and binding, extended fingerboard etc...I love it.?
It would take a lot to pry it from my hands...Thanks again for
your support. I look forward to playing more Webers.
