From the rich
musical tradition of the East Tennessee Smoky Mountains comes Richie
Owens, the latest in a long line of family musicians and songwriters.
Richie literally grew up in the birthplace of acoustic folk, bluegrass and
country music, giving him musical influence since birth by many of the
East Tennessee legends. Having played and performed music since he was
eight years old, Richie Owens has went on to produce, engineer, and or
perform with everyone from the Georgia Satellites to Dolly Parton. Always
active in the music community with his band The Farm Bureau, Owens is one
to keep an eye on for what to expect next in the Americana music scene.
