Jonathan
is 18. He only started playing guitar about three years ago. I was
beginning to think he’d never start at all! His interest in mandolin was
sparked by discovering Nickelcreek and Chris Thile. He put up with playing
my horrible old mandolin for a while, but I decided to get him a quality
instrument for his 18th birthday and after looking at the
different alternatives the
Gallatin more or less ended up
choosing itself. Jonathan is rapidly gaining a reputation locally playing
with his band The Pieces, and we’re busy recording a CD which should be
out in the next few weeks.
