My name is Jim Shinkle, I wanted to send you a picture of my Weber
mandolin. It's a Yellowstone I like to call Charlie. You know, I once
heard Sam Bush say in a workshop you should "let your mandolin speak" .
Well I'm not sure what language my mandolin speaks but I know it's from my
soul. I bought this Yellowstone a few years ago when I sold my house in
Bozeman. The funny thing is I didn't really know how to play it that well
at the time but now I'm playing the blues in a jug band,
The
Hump Night Thumpers, and it feels
great! who knew? |
