My name is Jericho, I'm from Virginia and I am thrilled to now own a
Weber Gallatin. My journey as a mandolin player has only begun, as of a
year ago when I picked it up for the first time. I was a die-hard bass
player until I really got into bluegrass or new grass, as well as country
music. I heard Nickel Creek's Chris Thile in concert playing his mandolin
and I became intrigued by its unique sound and versatility. Now, it's all
I ever play. I started out by learning on cheaper-built mandolins
to just get the feel for it, and then just last month my wife bought me a
Gallatin for an early birthday present. I had been eyeing the Gallatin
and other Weber mandolins ever since I listened to Haley Dyke's tracks on
her website - she plays a Bridger F. It just stuck with me and I wanted
to learn more about them. Now that I actually own one, it's really a
dream come true! I hope to continue playing the mandolin, and one day be
able to afford a top-of-the-line Weber. It's safe to assume they are the
only mandolins I'll play from now on. I can't wait to get another one. |
