I have played Bluegrass professionally since 1969 with Del McCoury
(1969-75), Don Stover (1976-77), Bob Paisley (1977-80), and others.
I have recorded for Rounder, Fretless, and Strictly Country (Holland).
I currently perform in a duo with my wife Judith. We have two CDs on
our own label. My songs have been recorded by Del McCoury, James
King, Valerie Smith and others.
I like the natural wood look of my Weber Gallatin with minimal inlay,
bindings and no high gloss lacquer. I like the natural sound of the
Gallatin with lots of sustain and no artificial hollowness. The
shape of the neck allows good playability and comfort. I play
traditional, down to earth, no-frills music, so the Gallatin is just right
for me. |
