I
became really interested in music at 14 or 15 years old. So I went out
and bought a set of drums( which my parents loved) and eventually got
hooked up with a small Southern rock band. Although I was playing the
drums, my interest was always with the strings. At the age of 45, I
finally got time to give it a whirl. What a blast! I broke down and
purchased a Weber, Absaroka Mandolin (a piece of art work I should say,
love it) from Jackson's music (Super Nice People, thanks Drew). I have
been playing for about a year now and regret I didn't do it along time
ago. My hero: Ricky Skaggs, BLUEGRASS RULES. Thanks for everything.
