I'm originally from the Ozarks. I've been playing
stringed instruments nearly all my life and picked up the mandolin in
1999. Over the years my wife Renae and I have played with different groups
and duos in a variety of different music styles. We have relocated to the
Kansas City area and are in a Christian jamgrass band called The Wright
Choice.

I played one of
your "Gallatin" mandolins with a radiused fingerboard last summer 2006 and
fell in love with the sound and feel of it. It didn't irritate the tendons
in my left hand like my other flat boarded mandos did. I could play it for
hours with no pain at all. I just knew I had to have one like it. Later
that same year, we decided to put this custom radiused F5 cedar top
Gallatin in the band's budget. It is truly a world class instrument. The
fit and finish is stunning and the tone is so rich, clear and LOUD! No
problem here cutting through all our other instrumentation even without
amplification (although I do use a Shertler DYN pickup for larger crowds.)
The factory set-up was perfect it needed no adjustment and is still set up
the way it came. amazing! We did decide to add on a pick guard. we
nervously sent it off to the Weber factory and It came back to us in about
a week in the same condition it left but with a custom fit Floating pick
guard installed. their customer service is top notch. Thanks again to all
you folks at Weber. You Rule!
