On the left is 13 year old Clayton Jamison
of Mt. Carmel, IL with his Weber Gallatin and
on the right is Jeffery Wallace, 15, of
Ellery, IL with his Weber Custom Bitterroot. In the picture Clayton and
Jeffrey along with showing off their mandolins are showcasing their
recent trophies from a regional talent competition. The boys won the
"group" competition with a mandolin duet of "Gold Rush" They beat out a
host of musical talent (including a 5 piece rock band!) These boys,
along with fiddler Dylan Hawf, 15, also of Mt. Carmel make up the
Bluegrass Band, "Bales of Hay." The trio came together just over a year
ago and have been playing venues all over Indiana and Illinois. The
group has produced a CD "Home Grown Music" and a second CD is almost
