My name is Bruce Mann and I live, with my wife, Kim, on "the family
farm" in western Wisconsin near the Mississippi River. I bought my first
Weber instrument, an Alder #2 flat-top Mandola, in the Spring of 2002
and have been a huge fan of Sound to Earth ever since. I have since
bought a Sweet Pea travel mandolin (that always goes with me on fishing
trips up to northern Minnesota and Canada) and a Bridger "A" style
mandolin with a radius fretboard. I can't say enough about how impressed
I am with how these instruments sound and play.
I fell in love with roots country, old-time and Celtic music during my
early teens and my love for this type of music has continued to grow
over the years. The music has always been a natural part of my life and
I enjoy playing at various functions with different folks. My Weber
instruments have become an inseparable part of the music for me as I
attempt to expand and grow and explore various musical by-roads, both as
a solo player and with a band called the Fisher Coulee Ramblers.
Whenever I pass by your neck of the woods I will always stop in and say
Hi before heading to the nearest fishing hole with my Sweet Pea and my
wife, Kim!
Thanks for making what are clearly the nicest instruments available!
Bruce Mann
