MANDOLIN FAMILY
Commitment to quality and integrity in fit, finish, playability, and above all-sound, drives our purpose in building; a purpose any Weber player will tell you they can see and hear in our instruments.
- Dream instruments are our goal. You may individualize any of our standard models in a design of your own.
- Choose from around twenty different standard models. Musicians aren't stamped out of one mold, an neither are our Mandolin Family Instruments.
- Afordable. Our aim at Weber is to make the best hand-built instruments that players of every cloth can afford.
- Innovation is our hallmark, however our Mandolin Family instruments are steeped in tradition.
- The finest, most well-aged woods are used.
- Bruce Weber personally graduates every top on every instrument to insure its tonal quality. Our braces are hand-scalloped and both they and our sound boards are tuned to create the perfect balance of tone clarity and power.
RESONATOR GUITARS
Screaming with Tone and Power or Subtle and Sensitive. From Bluegrass to Blues, our resophonic guitars fit right in. Whatever your style we have the instrument for you.
- Choose from square neck, round neck and biscuit cone in each of the seven Weber models.
SQUARE NECK: This resonator is not your papa's dobro TM. They sizzle with the forward projection and depth of tone that is necessary to cut through any bluegrass jam.
ROUND NECK: oozing sustain that caters to alternate tuning and bottleneck style slide.
BISCUIT CONE: thump and raw resonator tone that hearkens back to the acclaimed instruments from the '30's and '40's.
- Our innovative Carousel Soundwell not only retains a nearly open body design but offers the body stability and rigidity, which in turn increases volume.
- The Tailpiece, designed here in our shop, not only makes string changes easier but helps the sustain of our guitars trememdously through its increased mass.
- Solid woods used for all of our models gives the tone a depth and thickness absent from other resonators that use laminate construction.
- Weber proudly carries the torch when it comes to your ability to order a custom guitar with tone, and quality of workmanship.
ARCH TOP GUITARS
For Picking Tunes Carter-Style or Playing the Smooth Sounds of Wes Montgomery. Not only do Weber Archtops have the range of tone necessary to play with a Jazz Quartet, they also provide ample punch for Texas Swing, Big Band, Ragtime, Old-Time, or Fingerstyle.
- Modern looks and innovations allow them to fit right in with today's players while also recalling the flavor of the parlor picking era.
- Tonal character and depth that is expected in a high-end, hand-crafted acoustic archtop.
- Projection and volume that exceed expectations in a fifteen inch guitar body.
- Choose from a broad range of Weber models that mirror the names and many of the features of our archtop mandolins; from our cedar-topped Big Sky guitars to the spruce/mahogany Gallatins.
- 8-string Weber archtops with octave or mandocello tuning are one of the most popular customizations. Create a custom instrument just for you.
- Hand-fitted tone bars or X-bracing complete our solid wood, hand-calibrated tops, which are then paired with the most exquisite back/side wood available.
