This is our new "shallow carved" top and back guitar. By that, we
mean that this is not a true flat top in the traditional manner.
Most "flat top" guitars do not actually have a flat top, but rather have a
radius or bow pressed into the top by the braces which also have the same
radius.
Our shallow carved guitar has that radius literally carved into it,
and the braces hand fitted to that arc so that the top is not under any
tension except for the string load.
You'll be amazed at the unique sound that this new building
technique produces. |
